Defects in buildings or apartments, of different levels of importance, from significant construction flaws to simple finishing details may sometimes arise, and those responsible should be held to account, be they project managers or contractors.
 
The office is responsible for taking appropriate action against those responsible for construction-related problems by negotiating agreements and obtaining compensation, when necessary, or by ensuring that work is undertaken again and completed in a satisfactory manner by the original constructors – or in certain, more extreme cases, by terminating the contract and ensuring that any amount paid is returned, plus compensation for damages and losses that may have been incurred by those affected.
