Matrimonial and Family Law is a part of Civil Law that regulates the rights of individuals with respect to their relationships with their spouse or long-term partner, with shared children and even with grandparents. It also covers the guardianship and custody of minors, marital separation, divorce, marriage annulments, kinship, adoption, individual abilities, protection, the right to sustenance and not only of minors but also the rights of adults who do not possess the means to live and who have a family, among other issues.

The firm defends clients in those judicial processes involving marital separation, divorce and the annulment of marriage, by studying the most beneficial options in terms of the personal aspects of the person having to face processes of this type, of those children involved and the aspect of property and possessions.

The firm intercedes in the negotiation and drafting of the separation agreement or divorce by mutual consent, as is relevant, and will defend our clients in court, participating in the selection of that evidence pertinent to the defence of their interests, in addition to the amicable negotiation of the matter when circumstances allow.

Our team will also act in the defence of our clients in those processes involving kinship, adoption and paternity disputes.

We also defend clients before the General Directorate for Children and Adolescents (La Direcció General d’Atenció a la Infància i l’Adolescència - DGAIA) when this body withdraws the custody of minors from their parents and houses them in its own facilities.
